This has been a heartbreaking week. Mothers leaving their children in cars, one so she could go to work after the baby sitter fell through, another mother forgot to drop her baby off at the daycare center before going to work. Both parents returned to their cars to find their children dead from the heat.
We also have some drugged up wrecks who's children ingested all sorts of dangerous drugs, such as the mom who bought 10 hits of LSD that came as Sweet Tarts. This contender for mother of the year passed out and when she woke up her toddler was holding the pack and saying how much she likes that type of candy. She'd eaten two.
Or the mother who's twin babies were given Ecstasy and Methamphetamine. She's on the run now and her infants are in child protective custody. I really have to say I think they are probably better off without her in their lives, hopefully she hasn't ruined them forever by giving them poison.
And these stories only scratch the surface. What the hell is wrong with people?
